Job Summary
The Membership Manager will lead the development and coordination of the organisation’s membership programme, focusing on growing, engaging and retaining a diverse community of members. This role plays a key part in strengthening relationships, enhancing the member experience, and supporting the organisation’s mission through active engagement and community building.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the development and delivery of a membership plan to grow and retain a diverse member base
- Manage the member journey, ensuring a positive, inclusive and engaging experience from onboarding onwards
- Lead on member communications and work with the team to promote membership opportunities
- Maintain accurate membership records, monitor key metrics, and use insights to improve engagement
- Support the planning and delivery of member events and initiatives that foster community and participation
- Strong interest in membership, community engagement or audience development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage tasks independently
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Proactive, reliable and committed to delivering high\-quality outcomes
- Experience in membership, customer service or community\-focused roles
- Familiarity with CRM systems or data management
- Experience supporting events or engagement activities
- Interest in the arts, cultural or charity sector
