Medicines Counter Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Counter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our patients while assisting with medication administration and ensuring the smooth operation of the counter. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced environment. Opportunity may be available to work in the dispensary with a main focus on the counter/shop area.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with their inquiries at the counter.

Maintain an organised and tidy counter area, ensuring all products are well\-stocked and displayed correctly.

Collaborate with dispensary staff and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.

Address any patient concerns or issues promptly, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.

Stay informed about new medications, products, and services offered by the pharmacy.

Experience

Previous experience in a pharmacy environment or customer service role is highly desirable but not essential.

A background in patient care or customer service will be beneficial for this role.
