The emergency department are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self\-motivated individual as a Medical Staffing Co\-ordinator on a full\-time permanent basis.

You will work alongside our operational team to provide support with rota planning, locum usage, annual, study and sick leave for the medical workforce, reporting to the Assistant Delivery Manager for the division. You will also provide our resident doctors with local support and be a central point of contact.

The role requires excellent attention to detail, communication skills, a strong focus on engagement with staff at all levels as well as the ability to use your initiative and manage your workload, in order to combat rapidly changing priorities. You should also have the ability to work with and improve existing information systems and databases.

  • To operationally manage the medical staffing function within the emergency department

  • Responsible for producing and collating the weekly and on\-call rotas for all emergency department services in liaison with the Assistant Delivery Managers.

  • To act as the main point of contact for all medical staffing enquiries in the emergency department
