Part – Time Medical Receptionist / Administrator Required
16 hours per week – Monday \- Friday
We are looking for a receptionist / administrator to join our small friendly team.
The successful applicants will need to be highly motivated, adaptable and flexible and project a professional, positive and friendly image to our patients both in person and on the telephone.
This can be a very challenging role and the ability to stay calm under pressure is very important.
Previous experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. A knowledge of Emis Web would be an advantage.
The post involves day to day reception and admin duties and the suitable candidate must be happy to work as part of a team, but also to work alone.
The surgery is open 8am – 6\.30pm, so flexibility to cover shifts is essential, as well as covering holidays and sickness.
Applicants must be well presented, computer literate, have good communication, verbal and written skills, accuracy to detail and confidentiality is also essential. The ability to prioritise a workload is essential.
