Media Sales Account Manager

Salary: €40,000 to €45,000 DOE, plus excellent commission

The opportunity

Our client, a highly regarded media publication with genuine cultural relevance in Ireland, is looking for an ambitious Sales Account Manager to join their commercial team. This is a role for someone who wants to sell more than ad space, you'll be finding the partnerships and ideas that connect brands to something people actually care about.

You'll work closely with editorial, design, production, and events teams day to day, so this suits someone who enjoys being close to the creative process, not just closing a deal and moving on.

Where you'll spend your time

• Building strong, lasting commercial relationships with agencies, brands, and partners


• Working with clients to shape and sell brand partnerships, sponsorships, and experiential campaigns


• Growing advertising revenue across the full platform mix: print, digital, social, events, and broadcast


• Spotting new market opportunities and turning them into workable revenue plans


• Representing the brand with confidence and credibility in every client interaction


• Producing strong creative proposals and pitch presentations


• Managing accounts end to end, from first conversation through to delivery and reporting


• Keeping an organised pipeline with clear, accurate reporting on performance

What you'll bring

• At least 4 years' media sales experience within the Irish market


• A genuine interest in culture and an understanding of why it matters to brands


• A track record of building brand partnerships and hitting revenue targets


• Existing relationships with Irish media agencies and brands


• Experience working alongside content or production teams, sponsorship, events, or branded content sales experience is a strong plus


• A commercially driven mindset balanced with genuine creative curiosity


• Strong organisation, able to juggle new business pitching with meticulous pipeline management


• A relationship first approach, someone who values long term partnerships over quick wins
