Mechanical & Maintenance Engineer
Leisure Furnishings Ltd is a privately owned manufacturing business based in the East Midlands supplying soft furnishings to the UK Leisure Industry. All our products are manufactured at our site in Long Eaton.
We are looking for a Mechanical \& Maintenance Engineer to support production / operations in a busy Factory Environment.
The duties will include but not be limited to:
· Maintaining Sewing Machines and other Industrial Equipment
To ensure all machinery is maintained \& running efficiently, including:
o Fine tuning of sewing machines
o Troubleshooting \- Dismantling \& replacing faulty parts
o Installation of new parts / upgrades to machines
o Oil \& preventative care to ensure high standards of performance
· Site Maintenance
To assist in the maintenance and efficient running of Factory \& Office premises, including:
o General electrical duties
o Alarm testing \& maintaining water pumps
o Re\-location of plant \& machinery
o Liaising with 3rd party plumbers and electricians as necessary
Skills required are:
Mechanical experience essential
Site Maintenance experience desirable
Electrical experience would be beneficial but is not essential
An understanding of Plumbing would be beneficial but is not essential
This is a full time role 38 hours per week, Monday – Thursday.
Part time applications will also be considered
