Mechanical Engineer
About The Role
We are recruiting for Mechanical Engineers to join our expanding team based at our Barton\-Upon\-Humber factory. The candidate will work a combination of mornings and afternoons on rotating shift pattern or solely afternoon shift. The salary for this position ranges from £39,500 to £43,500\.
Main Responsibilities:
- To carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
- Providing rapid and professional response to breakdowns.
- Fault finding, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining equipment and plant using all engineering disciplines to ensure minimum lost production time.
- Ensure engineering standards are maintained to maximize the operation effectiveness and reliability of the factory and associated systems.
- To assist specialist subcontractor’s requirements, both for PPM and reactive works.
- Utilising the CMMS system to record all works (Shire System).
- Ensure Company \& Site, Health \& Safety procedures are always followed.
- To proactively work towards the continued success and support of the business with a can\-do attitude.
Key Skills and desires:
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
- An ability to work well under pressure
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
