Location: Based in Sywell, Northamptonshire (Requires travel to various site locations \& occasional overnight stays)

About the Role Due to recent restructuring and securing exciting new contracts, we are seeking an enthusiastic, trained Industrial / Mechanical Engineer to join our growing team in a leadership capacity.
In this Team Leader role, you will hold varying responsibilities across our engineering and lubrication divisions. You will manage preventive maintenance, oversee general industrial repairs, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction during client liaisons.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Support: Act as a Team Leader within the engineering and lubrication team, guiding staff and managing daily tasks.
- Asset Maintenance: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and lubrication routines on large industrial equipment.
- Repairs \& Troubleshooting: Conduct general industrial repairs to minimize client downtime.
- Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with customers and management, maintaining professional literacy and communication standards.
- Safety \& Compliance: Uphold strict health and safety standards on\-site (training on CDM and Health and safety available to suitable candidates .
- Education: Minimum of an NVQ qualification (or equivalent) in a mechanical or industrial engineering discipline.
- Experience: Proven track record in a similar engineering role within a fast\-paced industrial environment.
- Technical Skills: Engineering training to a minimum of NVQ with Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word as a minimum.
- Compliance: A solid understanding of Construction Design and Management (CDM) and health and safety regulations is highly advantageous (training is available for the right candidate).
- Licence: A clean, valid UK Driving Licence is essential. SP\-related endorsements will be considered.
- Autonomy \& Teamwork: Ability to work efficiently both as an independent specialist and as part of a collaborative team.
- Efficiency: A proactive, flexible mindset with a keen drive to complete tasks safely and in a timely manner.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written literacy skills for seamless customer and company correspondence.
