ROLE: Mechanical Engineer
HOURS: 48 Hrs/Week (12\-hour shifts, 4 on 4 off)
LOCATION: Dudley, West Midlands DY1 2HQ
At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will deliver excellent service standards while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to maintenance schedules.
Role Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair plumbing, ventilation systems (AHUs, extract/intake), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs), and water assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters).
- Deliver high\-quality service, respond to client queries, and report defects promptly.
- Complete documentation accurately and on time, including inspection reports and remedial logs.
- Perform manual tasks, including working at heights and in confined spaces.
- Adhere to Health \& Safety procedures and Permit to Work systems.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in Maintenance/Facilities Management.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. C\&G Level 2/3 or equivalent).
- Knowledge of Health \& Safety and safe systems of work.
- Full UK driving licence and IT literacy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to use mobile devices effectively.
