What if your curiosity and willingness to learn could contribute to improving – and even saving – lives? We are looking for motivated early‑career Mechanical Engineers to join our Hardware team in the Neuro organization in Stockholm.
In this role, you will work with Elekta’s advanced stereotactic systems and contribute to the development of high‑precision, safety‑critical medical devices. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, where different perspectives are valued, and where you’ll be encouraged to grow, learn, and contribute from day one.
What you’ll do
- Contribute to mechanical design and development of systems, subsystems, and modules
- Take part in concept discussions and early design work, bringing ideas and curiosity
- Create and update CAD models and drawings (SolidWorks or similar tools)
- Support testing and verification activities, learning how products are validated
- Work closely with colleagues across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and service
- Help improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability
- Explore and apply modern tools, including AI\-supported methods, to improve design and workflows
- You have an M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (or are close to graduating)
- You have 0–3 years of experience, or relevant project, thesis, or internship experience
- You have some experience with 3D CAD tools
- You are interested in mechanical design and product development
- Experience with simulations, FEM, or AI tools is a plus—but not a requirement
- You are comfortable working in English and Swedish
- You have a valid work permit for Sweden
