Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented mechanical engineer/fitter to join our busy used textile machinery business.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare used machinery for delivery including repair and replacement of parts as required.

  • Prepare machines for painting

  • Dismantling and re\-assembly of machines both at home and abroad

  • Assist with loading machinery into shipping containers and onto trailers

  • Be flexible and take up other tasks as required

  • UK Driving License is essential

  • Fork truck license would be an advantage

  • Basic Hours Monday to Friday 7\.30am to 4pm \- 40 hours week

  • Overtime and Saturday morning expected when deemed necessary

  • Salary negotiable depending on experience

Pay: Up to £18\.00 per hour
