Mechanical Engineer (Contractor)

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Reviewing and updating existing CAD designs in OnShape to company standards and in preparation for migration to a PLM tool. Specifically:

• Updating drawing templates to the latest standard


• Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of CAD metadata (e.g. materials, masses)


• Creating, reviewing and releasing drawings


• Generating OnShape publications for released parts and assemblies, including electro\-mechanical assemblies


• Working with sub\-contractors to ensure we hold their latest 3D models and design drawings


• Migrating designs to the PLM tool

• Proficient OnShape user


• \>2 years mechanical design experience


• Working knowledge of GD\&T and AMSE Y14\.5


• Good attention to detail
