We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Mechanical/Electrical Service Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in the launch and development of an exciting new product range.

This opportunity would ideally suit an experienced forklift engineer or similar field service engineer with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge who is looking for a varied and rewarding role with excellent future potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior management to help drive the project forward and become an important part of the product’s ongoing development and customer support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, servicing, and maintenance of new equipment

  • Assisting with product training for customers and internal teams

  • Supporting additional electrical work within the wider company

  • Attending exhibitions, trade shows, and live demonstrations

  • Assisting with product testing, feedback, and ongoing development

  • Providing technical support and fault finding both on\-site and remotely

  • Occasional European and worldwide travel

  • Ideal Candidate Background in forklift engineering, plant engineering, or similar service role

  • Strong electrical and mechanical fault\-finding skills

  • Positive, dynamic, and enthusiastic attitude

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  • Good communication and customer\-facing skills

  • Willingness to travel internationally when required

  • Full driving licence preferred

What will you do \& what will you need? As a part of your role, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards. This includes ensuring that all work is completed on time and in compliance with manufacturer guidelines. You should be able to communicate technical information to your teammates, and escalate any issues to relevant managers. You should also possess a keen eye for detail and ensure that all work is accurately documented. Additionally, you’ll demonstrate good diagnostic and fault\-finding skills ensuring first\-time fix.
