Are you a graduate engineer looking to start your career, or an experienced engineer ready for a new challenge? HG Kippax is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team designing and improving specialist screen\-printing machinery.

The Role

You will support the design, improvement, and documentation of our machinery, working closely with production and electrical teams.

· Create and update machine drawings using SolidWorks

· Produce assembly drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)

· Support machine improvements and development projects

· Assist with technical documentation and manuals

· Work with production teams to improve manufacturing processes

What We’re Looking For

· Mechanical Engineering qualification or relevant industry experience

· Interest in design, machinery, and manufacturing

· Problem\-solving mindset and attention to detail

· CAD experience beneficial (SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar)

We welcome applications from both graduates and experienced engineers. Training and support will be provided depending on experience.

Salary \& Benefits

Competitive salary and benefits package, dependent on experience.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8:00am – 4:45pm

Friday: 8:00am – 3:45pm

Pay: £28,000\.00\-£35,000\.00 per year
