Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Manufacturing background looking for an immediate start on a range of bespoke projects within a well–established company?

On offer is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading company on a 6–month fixed term contract, with the possibility to extend in the future.

The company, who have been established for over 50 years, specialise in the design, manufacture and build of a range of special purpose machinery. Due to increased demand for their services, they are now looking to add to their specialist team of Design Engineers.

In this highly varied, Monday to Friday role, you will be using SolidWorks to design a range of parts and components that will be used on new machinery as well as the development of existing parts and products. You will also collaborate with a variety of teams within the business to lead a new project the company have successfully tendered for.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with SolidWorks experience that is looking to immediately join a market leading company on an initial 6–month fixed term contract with the scope to extend further.

The Role:

• 6–month Fixed Term Contract


• Working on a variety of bespoke design projects


• Monday to Friday days based

• Mechanical Design Engineer proficient with SolidWorks


• Experience in Manufacturing or special purpose machinery


• Looking for an immediate start


• Commutable to Colchester
