Role: Maths Lecturer
Location: West Yorkshire
Type: Temporary - Part-Time
Rate: £30 - £35 per hour

Eden Brown Education is currently recruiting for a Maths Lecturer on behalf of a leading Further Education College in West Yorkshire.

This is a part time role to start asap until end of October initially, potentially extended.

Days are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Maths professional to join a supportive and successful department, delivering engaging GCSE Maths lessons to post-16 learners and helping students achieve their academic goals.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality GCSE Maths teaching to students aged 16+

  • Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with awarding body requirements

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Support learners to develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes

  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Maintain accurate records and comply with college policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent)

  • A degree or relevant qualification in Mathematics or a related subject

  • Experience teaching GCSE Maths within a Further Education, Sixth Form or Secondary setting

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A passion for supporting learners to succeed
