Material Planning Analyst

• Contract Length: 12-month contract


• Location: Desford


• Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Mon to Thur 08:00-16:30 & Fri 08:00 - 13:30


• Pay Rate: Up to £18.90 per hour

What You'll Be Doing In this role, you will be the vital link between global suppliers and internal production teams.

Your daily focus will include:

• Coordinating delivery and shipping schedules to ensure materials hit the facility floor right on time.


• Diving into root-cause analysis to fix supplier performance issues and coming up with alternative manufacturing methods when needed.


• Analysing parts schedules, converting requirements into piece parts, regulating inventory levels, and issuing work orders.


• Leading the implementation of engineering changes for efficient product manufacturing.

What We're Looking For • Qualifications or experience in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or Industrial Engineering.

• The ability to use and troubleshoot MRP, Lognet, and MTS systems.


• A grasp of production scheduling, capacity management, inventory control, and logistics.


• Analytical problem-solving skills paired with top-tier communication and teamwork abilities.
