In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment during home games , monitoring crowd behaviour, and preventing incidents before they occur. Your energetic presence and keen eye for detail will be vital in safeguarding both guests and staff, creating a positive atmosphere that promotes safety and enjoyment throughout matchdays. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of live sporting events, making a real difference behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control points, verifying tickets and credentials to ensure only authorized individuals enter designated areas.


• Observe crowd behavior closely, intervening promptly to prevent disturbances or unsafe situations.


• Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency responders.


• Perform loss prevention duties by identifying suspicious activity and deterring theft or vandalism.


• Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately for each event.


• Collaborate with team members to implement security protocols and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Skills

• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to deter theft and manage crowd control.


• Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding to incidents or emergencies.


• First aid certification or the ability to provide basic medical assistance when needed.


• Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail in dynamic environments.


• Clear communication skills to coordinate with team members, staff, and emergency services.


• Physical stamina to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods during matchdays.

Pay: £12\.71\-£14\.00 per hour
