The injection molding of elastomers places specific demands on process control due to the rheological properties of the materials and the vulcanization process. Process parameters such as temperature control, injection behavior, and mold design have a significant impact on component quality and process stability.
The objective of this master’s thesis is to analyze an elastomer injection molding process from a process engineering perspective and to investigate the relationships between process parameters and component properties. To support this analysis, process data will be systematically evaluated, and suitable methods for data\-driven process assessment will be developed.
This thesis is aimed at students of plastics engineering with an interest in injection molding processes and data\-driven analysis.
