Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and licensed Massage Therapist to join our team.
Looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated person to work as part of a team delivering patient\-centred care to the community.
Self employed position with a generous percentage for the right person.
We see a variety of cases.
As a Massage Therapist, you will provide therapeutic massages to clients to help them relax, relieve stress, and address specific health concerns. Your expertise in anatomy and massage techniques will contribute to the overall well\-being of our clients.
Responsibilities:
\- Perform professional massages based on client needs and preferences
\- Assess clients' medical history and specific conditions to determine the most suitable massage techniques
\- Provide a comfortable and relaxing environment for clients during their sessions
\- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the massage room
\- Educate clients on the benefits of regular massage therapy and recommend appropriate self\-care techniques
\- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as chiropractors, to develop comprehensive treatment plans for clients
\- Keep accurate records of client information, treatment plans, and progress
Skills:
\- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
\- Proficiency in various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and prenatal massage
\- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients
\- Ability to adapt massage techniques based on individual client needs and preferences
\- Strong time management skills to ensure timely sessions without compromising quality of service
\- Professionalism and integrity in maintaining client confidentiality
