Soul Living is an independent lifestyle and interiors store based in the heart of Shrewsbury, offering beautifully curated homeware, gifts, furniture and décor. We are passionate about creating an inspiring shopping experience both in\-store and online and are looking for a creative, friendly and hands\-on individual to join our growing team.

The Role

This is a hybrid role combining marketing, social media and customer\-facing retail responsibilities. We are looking for someone who can help bring the Soul Living brand to life online while also supporting the day\-to\-day running of our shop.

The role is ideal for someone creative and organised who enjoys social media and content creation but also loves engaging with customers and being part of a busy retail environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarketing \& Social Media

• Manage and support Soul Living’s social media channels including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok


• Create engaging content including photos, reels, stories and captions


• Assist with planning and scheduling social media posts and campaigns


• Support website updates including product uploads and seasonal content


• Help promote new collections, events and in\-store activity


• Assist with email marketing and customer communications


• Monitor social media engagement and suggest ideas for growth

• Provide excellent customer service in\-store


• Support day\-to\-day shop operations including sales, merchandising and maintaining store standards


• Assist with styling displays and seasonal visual merchandising


• Help process deliveries, stock replenishment and general store organisation


• Support in\-store events and promotional activity


• Represent the Soul Living brand in a warm, friendly and professional manner

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Creative with a good eye for interiors, styling and branding


• Confident using social media platforms and creating content


• Friendly, approachable and customer\-focused


• Organised and proactive with a positive attitude


• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team


• Willing to be hands\-on and flexible across different areas of the business

• Experience using Canva or similar design tools


• Basic photography or video editing skills


• Previous retail or customer service experience


• Website or Shopify experience is a bonus but not essential

• A creative and supportive working environment
