Marketing & Reservations Manager

Market House is a one\-of\-a\-kind dining, private dining and meeting destination in the heart of Cambridge.

Set across five floors of an iconic Grade II listed building overlooking historic Market Square, Market House comprises a Modern British restaurant, Wine Cellar Restaurant, private dining rooms, Food Lab and flexible meeting and event spaces.

We are looking for a passionate, commercially minded and highly organised individual to join our team as Marketing \& Reservations Manager.

Reporting to the Director and working closely with the restaurant management team, you will lead Market House’s marketing activity while managing reservations, private dining and corporate enquiries. You will oversee the customer journey from initial enquiry to confirmed booking, build lasting client relationships and help maximise booking conversion.

Alongside reservations, you will deliver marketing across social media, digital content, email campaigns, partnerships and local engagement to grow the profile of Market House and generate new business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver marketing, social media, email and content activities.


• Develop relationships with local businesses, organisations, hotels and event partners.


• Manage reservations, private dining, group and corporate enquiries.


• Follow up enquiries and convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.


• Coordinate booking details, menus, pre\-orders, dietary requirements and drinks arrangements.


• Work closely with the restaurant and kitchen teams to ensure an excellent guest experience.

To be considered for interview, you should be:

• Experienced in hospitality reservations, events, sales, marketing or a related customer\-facing role.


• Experienced in social media, content creation and marketing communications.


• An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong relationship\-building skills.


• Commercially minded and confident in following up and converting enquiries.


• Highly organised, with the ability to manage a high volume of bookings, enquiries and deadlines.


• A proactive, positive self\-starter and collaborative team player.
