Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per year, depending on experience, plus overtime

The role

You'll join our Plumbing, Heating \& Mechanical department carrying out servicing, breakdowns, repairs and installations across residential and commercial properties. Work includes boiler servicing and repairs, boiler and full system replacements, cylinders, bathrooms and wet rooms, landlord gas safety certificates and commercial plumbing \& heating works. You'll be part of a dedicated team with its own manager and co\-ordinator whose job is to keep your diary full, your jobs organised and your materials ready — so you can focus on doing good work. Jobs, photos, forms and certificates are all managed through our job management software.

Key responsibilities

• Servicing, fault\-finding and repairing domestic gas boilers and heating systems


• Boiler and heating system installations and upgrades


• General plumbing works — bathrooms, cylinders, pipework, repairs


• Landlord gas safety inspections and certification (CP12s)


• Commercial plumbing \& heating works alongside experienced colleagues


• Delivering friendly, professional customer service on every job — keeping the customer informed is part of the work, not an extra


• Completing accurate records in Commusoft: photos, forms, certificates and job notes

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing \& Heating (or equivalent time\-served experience)


• Gas Safe registered with current domestic ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT etc.) — commercial tickets (COCN1/CODNCO1\) a bonus


• Full UK driving licence (essential)


• Proven experience in domestic service, repair and installation work


• Good communication skills and a high standard of customer service


• Unvented (G3\) and/or OFTEC oil qualifications a plus

• £40,000–£50,000 per year, depending on experience


• 28 days' holiday per year
