About the Company
The Fuel Store (TFS) is a progressive, Birmingham based business using technology to develop its market and stay ahead of the competition. It is on a mission to revolutionise the way business is conducted in its chosen business segments. The business is a leading provider of fuel and associated products into the transportation sector. TFS provides a range of products and solutions to its customers which help them to increase profits through increasing basket size, customer loyalty and usage; serving customers more efficiently and cost\-effectively. It currently facilitates the provision of and processes the transactions to allow over 60 million litres of Fuel per annum through its card processes.
The business was started 10 years ago and to date has grown organically. Future development will be a combination of organic and inorganic growth offering its customers a carefully thought out package of products with software that enables easy/dynamic/cost optimised fleet management at its core.
The shareholders are keen that the business goes into a rapid growth phase with associated profitability. A new CEO has been appointed and will lead the twin track approach of organic and inorganic growth.
The Role
As Marketing Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing to execute campaigns and coordinate marketing activity across digital channels, content, CRM and sales enablement.
This is a hands\-on generalist marketing role for someone who enjoys working across multiple channels, managing campaigns end\-to\-end and keeping projects moving at pace.
You’ll act as the operational engine of the marketing function — ensuring campaigns, content and reporting are delivered effectively and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing \& Campaign Delivery
- Deliver digital acquisition and Account\-Based Marketing (ABM) campaigns
- Prepare audience lists and campaign inputs for agency partners
- Track campaign performance including CPL, engagement and pipeline signals
- Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to act on marketing insights
- Manage day\-to\-day relationship with marketing agency
- Maintain marketing assets across digital channels
- Oversee landing page updates, website content and SEO improvements
- Monitor search terms, keyword performance and optimisation opportunities
- Manage freelance writers and agency partners
- Brief and review blogs, social content and website updates
- Source insights from across the business to create valuable content
- Ensure content is on\-brand, accurate and commercially relevant
- Build and optimise email nurture campaigns
- Maintain sales collateral including case studies and presentations
- Ensure the sales team has up\-to\-date materials and messaging
- Maintain CRM data quality and segmentation
- Manage campaign lists and contact records
- Produce performance dashboards and marketing reports
- Coordinate marketing schedules and priorities
- Ensure clear communication between internal teams and agencies
- Keep projects organised and stakeholders informed of progress

Essential Experience
- Experience in a generalist marketing role
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent written communication and content skills
- Experience with CRM systems, email marketing platforms and digital channels
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
- Self\-starter with strong ownership and initiative
- Curious about how marketing drives business growth
