This is a hands\-on role. The successful candidate will be expected to drive activity, manage the marketing team and ensure that campaigns are actually delivered — from paid advertising and social media through to events, partnerships, property launches and on\-site activity.

The role will manage the Social Media Manager and Community Manager, setting clear priorities and ensuring all activity supports the wider letting strategy and commercial objectives of the business.

Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Management

  • Act as the day\-to\-day custodian of the Rengen Lettings brand.

  • Ensure all marketing activity reflects Rengen’s core brand, tone of voice and values.

  • Maintain consistency across social media, digital advertising, websites, printed collateral, property signage, events and resident communications.

  • Review and approve marketing materials before publication.

  • Challenge content or campaigns that do not meet the expected standard.

  • Ensure each Rengen property has a clear and consistent proposition while remaining aligned with the wider Rengen brand.
Marketing Strategy \& Delivery
  • Work closely with the Head of Lettings to develop and deliver the annual marketing strategy.

  • Translate letting targets into clear marketing campaigns and activity.

  • Build property\-specific marketing plans around launches, peak letting periods and occupancy requirements.

  • Identify opportunities to increase awareness and exposure of the Rengen brand.

  • Ensure marketing activity remains responsive to occupancy, enquiry levels and wider market conditions.

  • Take ownership of campaigns from concept through to execution and reporting.
Digital Advertising
  • Oversee paid digital advertising across platforms including Google, Meta and other relevant channels.

  • Work with external agencies where appropriate while retaining responsibility for performance.

  • Ensure advertising budgets are focused on generating genuine enquiries and conversions.

  • Regularly review campaign performance, cost per lead, enquiry quality and conversion.

  • Adjust campaigns quickly where performance is below expectation.

  • Develop targeted campaigns by city, property, customer type and letting period.
Social Media
  • Manage and provide direction to the Social Media Manager.

  • Set the overall social media strategy, content priorities and tone.

  • Ensure a consistent flow of high\-quality, engaging content across relevant platforms.

  • Ensure social media balances brand\-building content with direct commercial letting activity.

  • Develop campaigns designed to increase reach, engagement, followers and enquiries.

  • Monitor trends and competitor activity to ensure Rengen remains relevant and competitive.

  • Ensure content is planned in advance through a clear marketing and content calendar.
Events \& Activations
  • Develop and oversee events designed to increase awareness, enquiries and resident engagement.

  • Coordinate property launch events, open days, viewing events, university activity, student fairs and local activations.

  • Work with the Community Manager to build an active programme of resident events.

  • Identify opportunities for Rengen to establish a stronger physical presence within its key cities.

  • Develop partnerships with universities, local businesses, student societies, employers and other organisations where appropriate.
Community \& Resident Engagement
  • Manage and provide direction to the Community Manager.

  • Ensure each property has a structured programme of community and resident engagement.

  • Use resident events and experiences to strengthen the Rengen brand and generate organic social media content.

  • Encourage resident advocacy, referrals, testimonials and user\-generated content.

  • Work with operational teams to ensure the customer experience supports the promises made through marketing.
Team Management
  • Lead and manage the Social Media Manager and Community Manager.

  • Set clear objectives, responsibilities and deadlines.

  • Hold regular team meetings and ensure actions are followed through.

  • Develop a high\-output, accountable marketing culture.

  • Ensure the team is focused on activity that directly supports the wider business and letting objectives.

  • Manage workload and resources across multiple developments and cities.
Property Marketing
  • Ensure every Rengen development has appropriate and up\-to\-date marketing material.

  • Coordinate photography, videography, CGI, floorplans, brochures and property content.

  • Regularly review property listings and websites to ensure information is accurate and commercially effective.

  • Work closely with the lettings team to identify barriers to conversion and develop marketing solutions.

  • Support new property launches, rebrands and mobilisation of new developments.
