Marketing Executive
ROLE: MARKETING EXECUTIVE
TYPE: FULL\-TIME
Celtic Football Club is currently seeking a Marketing Executive within the Marketing \& Multimedia Department. You will collaborate with a multi\-disciplinary team to plan and deliver high\-impact digital campaigns where storytelling and sharp copywriting are at the heart of everything we do.
This position requires someone who can translate commercial goals into actionable digital campaign plans. With strong copywriting skills and a "fan\-first" mentality, you will help to co\-ordinate multi\-channel campaigns that drive revenue growth and enhance brand loyalty in a fast\-paced, digital\-first environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Create and manage marketing calendars to ensure a consistent and optimized flow of digital content across the season.
- Work closely with the digital and social teams to deliver integrated campaigns across organic/paid social, email (CRM) and official Club channels.
- Collaborate with all commercial departments to understand their unique objectives and build tailored marketing plans to meet them.
- Support the marketing team who are a hub for idea generation—contributing creative concepts for everything from daily ticket sales to soccer academy camps.
- Produce high\-quality, persuasive copy for email marketing, and web content that aligns with the "Celtic Voice."
- Draft creative briefs for internal \& external agencies, ensuring all campaign requirements are clearly defined and deadlines are met.
- Support the approval process for assets, ensuring they are optimized for digital platforms (e.g., aspect ratios for social, mobile\-first email design).
- Monitor live campaign performance and pivot plans quickly to optimize engagement and conversion rates.
- Assist in the preparation of post\-campaign reports, identifying "lessons learned" to improve future digital planning.
- Ensure all matchday messaging is "fan\-first" and relevant to the live environment.
- Support the Head of Marketing Operations to deliver key Club events.
Skills and Experience required:
Essential
- Educated to degree level
- Written communication skills
- Experience in a high\-paced office
- Good understanding of digital marketing
- Design experience (Photoshop)
- Knowledge of football
- Agency management experience
- You have an appetite to work in a fast\-paced environment, and experience working in football would be a bonus!
- You have strong marketing and / or brand management skills.
- Building good relationships with stakeholders comes naturally to you.
- You are comfortable with prioritising jobs from a range of stakeholders.
