Marketing Executive Salary: £30,000
Location: Cambridge, office based.
Contract: Permanent, full time.

The Opportunity A growing B2B business is looking for a creative and commercially minded Marketing Executive to join its Sales and Marketing team.

This is a hands on opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of marketing activity, bring fresh ideas into the business and develop campaigns from concept through to delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with an experienced Marketing Manager and play an important role in strengthening the company's digital presence, supporting lead generation and creating authentic content.

The business is looking for someone who is confident contributing from the outset. This is not a purely junior support role. You will be encouraged to challenge existing approaches, suggest new ideas and take the lead on creative campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging marketing campaigns across multiple digital channels

• Take marketing ideas from initial concept through to execution


• Create and manage Mailchimp campaigns to support lead generation


• Monitor email engagement and identify warm prospects for the telesales team


• Manage and improve the company's presence across LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok


• Support the refresh and redevelopment of the company website


• Produce original content that reflects the personality and authenticity of the brand


• Film and interview customers to create engaging case studies and promotional content


• Manage website and social media updates


• Monitor campaign performance and provide clear insights on engagement and return on investment


• Maintain marketing databases to support targeted campaigns


• Work collaboratively with the wider Sales and Marketing team, internal stakeholders and external partners


• Ensure marketing activity remains aligned with the direction of the business and its brand guidelines

About You You will have a minimum of two years of marketing experience, ideally within a B2B environment, and will be comfortable taking ownership of campaigns rather than waiting for detailed instructions.

The successful candidate will be:

• Creative, proactive and confident presenting new ideas


• Comfortable thinking differently and challenging existing approaches


• Personable and confident when interviewing customers


• Strong across digital marketing channels, including social media, email and web content


• Comfortable using data to assess campaign performance


• Able to create original and authentic content


• Organised, detail focused and capable of managing multiple priorities


• A clear communicator who enjoys working closely with sales teams
