You will support activity across email marketing, social media, partnerships, website content, customer reviews and marketing campaigns. You will also work with colleagues across the business and external marketing agencies.
The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop practical marketing knowledge while building strong administrative, organisational and communication skills.
The role
As Marketing Assistant, you will provide day\-to\-day administrative support to the Marketing Team and help ensure marketing activity is delivered accurately and on time.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Email marketing administration
- Social media scheduling and monitoring
- Customer offers and promotions
- Partnership marketing support
- Trustpilot and customer review administration
- Website content updates
- Marketing reporting and data entry
- Coordination of marketing materials
- General departmental administration
- Providing general administrative support to the Marketing Team
- Maintaining marketing records, trackers, campaign plans and shared documents
- Coordinating deadlines and following up on outstanding actions
- Proofreading communications and checking content for accuracy
- Organising marketing files, imagery, documents and campaign assets
- Supporting the production and distribution of internal communications
- Carrying out competitor, product and pricing research
- Assisting with updates to product and policy documents
- Helping to prepare, build and schedule customer and partner emails
- Obtaining, checking and uploading the correct data for email campaigns
- Proofreading email content and checking links before communications are sent
- Supporting emails relating to promotions, products, company news and customer advice
- Recording email results, including open rates, clicks and conversions
- Helping to maintain the email marketing calendar
- Scheduling approved content across LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Instagram
- Helping to create straightforward and engaging social media posts
- Sourcing suitable imagery and preparing content for approval
- Monitoring messages, comments and customer interactions
- Escalating enquiries or negative feedback to the appropriate team
- Supporting the promotion of website content, products, offers and company news
- Monitoring customer reviews across Trustpilot and other review platforms
- Preparing and publishing appropriate responses to positive feedback
- Gathering information about negative reviews and escalating them where necessary
- Maintaining accurate records of review activity
- Sharing positive customer feedback internally and across approved marketing channels
- Supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns with existing partners
- Providing partners with approved copy, imagery, links and marketing materials
- Checking partner websites to ensure MotorEasy information is accurate and up to date
- Helping to onboard new partners and affiliates
- Maintaining partner contact lists and campaign records
- Assisting with research into potential new partnership opportunities
- Uploading approved website content, promotional offers and landing\-page updates
- Checking website pages for accuracy, broken links and outdated information
- Supporting updates to product information and customer communications
- Helping to prepare content for the MotorEasy blog and customer newsletters
- Assisting with basic copywriting and proofreading
- Reporting any website issues to the relevant team
- Updating lead\-analysis and campaign\-performance trackers
- Collating results from email, social media and website activity
- Supporting regular marketing reports with accurate data
- Recording performance against campaign targets and projections
- Highlighting missing information or unusual results to the Marketing Team
- Helping to keep employees informed about new products, offers and developments
- Preparing and distributing approved internal updates
- Gathering information from different departments for company communications
- Supporting the weekly round\-up of marketing, sales, repairs and company developments
- Sending approved briefs, copy and assets to external marketing agencies
- Keeping records of agency requests and deadlines
- Following up on outstanding creative work or marketing materials
- Checking that completed assets match the original brief
- Supporting communication with PR, design and digital marketing agencies
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and keen to begin or develop a career in marketing.
You should have:
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Good written English and attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel
- The ability to manage several tasks and deadlines
- A positive, proactive and helpful approach
- Confidence communicating with colleagues, partners and suppliers
- An interest in marketing, social media and digital content
- A willingness to learn new systems and processes
- The ability to follow instructions and complete work accurately
- Good judgement when handling customer comments or feedback
Experience using social media platforms, email marketing software, website content\-management systems, Canva, Google Analytics or Trustpilot would be beneficial.
