Mandarin Speaking Business Development Manager
We are seeking a self\-confident, enthusiastic, hardworking individual to join our fast\-growing Interior Design company based in Greenwich London.
Over the several years we have been servicing clients we have expanded our ranges from furniture packs and bespoke design to window dressing services with more to come. Our business and connections overlap client service companies more widely, the property industry and many other interesting clients with business interests in many different sectors. Most of our client base is from the Far East at this moment and we are working hard to service their requirements, whether for themselves, their children (often students) or as part of their wider investment strategy.
Our ambition is to service more clients from other geographic areas in the world, set\-up stronger agent relationships abroad, to work closer with developers, agents and others at home, seeking clients from as many sources as possible.
Our directors worked in banking and property in the past and so have a ready overview of needs, requirements and good contact books. Working from our London base just east of Greenwich Peninsula, we wish to expand our offering to a wider audience and be visible in the core sourcing centers for clients with UK interests in mind.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of sales strategies
- Expanding existing client relationships and development of long\-term client relationships
- Liaising with B2B and B2C clients to identify and define project requirements
- Answering \& directing incoming calls/emails
- Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
- Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise during and after project implementation.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all stakeholders
- Promote and market furniture packs and bespoke joinery to potential customers: Estate Agents; Property Developers; Investors and Property Owners
- Global Product sourcing
- Attend events for networking
- Minimum two years’ sales experience
- B2B cold calling experience is preferred
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills is essential
- Depending on experience, basic salary of £50k, OTE is £60k\-£80k
