Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Manager in Storage and Warehousing to lead our logistics operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the efficient management of warehouse activities, ensuring seamless coordination of shipping, receiving, inventory control, and process improvements. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, optimize supply chain workflows, and foster a safety\-first environment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including shipping \& receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Oversee transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management system (WMS) to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
- Manage relationships with third\-party logistics providers (3PL) to ensure service levels meet company standards.
- Monitor profit \& loss statements related to warehouse activities, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
- Implement process improvement strategies using continuous improvement methodologies to optimize workflows and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including forklift operation protocols and proper handling procedures.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams to align warehouse activities with overall logistics objectives and ERP systems integration.
- Proven supervising experience in a warehouse or logistics environment with a track record of leading high\-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations, including shipping \& receiving, transportation management systems, and warehouse management systems.
- Hands\-on experience with warehouse experience tools such as forklift operation, AS400 systems, and ERP platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage profit \& loss responsibilities effectively while driving process improvements.
- Familiarity with 3PL partnerships, supply chain dynamics, and process optimization techniques.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem\-solving in fast\-paced environments.
Pay: £41,700\.00\-£43,000\.00 per year
