Manager (FT/PT) - Chapel Allerton, Leeds

We are looking for an experienced and flexible Manager with fantastic barista experience to lead our new team in Chapel Allerton, starting early July 2026\. The role is for at least 35 hrs per week (full time over five days), but we can also consider a job share arrangement. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and available for holiday cover when required.

The ideal candidate will be fully adept at managing a busy team, organising rotas, ordering, training junior members of staff, curating retail and communicating regularly and effectively with senior management. We will also expect the successful candidate to assist with set\-up, clean\-downs, till work, cash\-handling and general customer service.

Please note that you will be required to work during the Christmas and summer holiday periods.

Experience of working with food, in a very busy cafe and making beautiful coffee is essential.

A bit about Bluebird Bakery:

We are a family\-owned 'real\-bread' bakery with shops in Malton, York, Leeds, Acomb, Holmfirth and Beverley. All our products are hand\-made and we use long\-fermentation methods, with no need for improvers or additives.

We bake with 100% organic flour and source locally, where possible. We work with a team of talented bakers, baristas and brilliant shop staff \- many have been with us for years.
