As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for...
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Monitor bank balances across the group daily, and prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial plans
- Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between budgeted and actual financial performance, providing insights to management
- Month-end close processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide financial analysis and recommnedations for decision-making to senior management
As a Management Accountant, you will need...
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and analysis
- Proficiency in financial software, experience with Sage 50 is advantageous
- Professional qualifications, such as AAT, or studying towards is desirable
