Management Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial management activities, preparing accurate financial reports, and supporting strategic decision\-making processes. The Management Accountant will play a vital role in maintaining the organisation’s financial health and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Main Duties \& responsibilities will include:

· Manage the day\-to\-day business of the finance department

· Produce Monthly management Accounts, variance analysis and commentaries

· Calculation, presentation and payment of VAT

· Produce weekly depot financial performance reports

· Manage Weekly/monthly payment runs, supplier reconciliations \& query resolve ensuring an efficient and well controlled month end close process.

· Manage the Payroll systems

· Bank, credit card and intercompany reconciliation

· Sales invoicing, debt collection and credit control

· Management of General, purchase and sales ledger

· Report on company assets and liabilities including balance sheet account reconciliation of intangible assets.

· Develop and managing financial systems \& policies and identifying opportunities for improvement.

· Ensure compliance with all financial regulations

· Supervising the internal accounting team

Requirements

· Strong Microsoft \& accounting system Knowledge

· Excellent technical accounting skills

· Good problem\-solving skills

· Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

· Understanding of management and statutory accounting

· Experience of weekly, monthly management accounting routines

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts management

· Preferred software skills\-Sage Accounts \& Sage Payroll

Pay: £45,000\.00\-£50,000\.00 per year
