Job Description

The People \& Culture (P\&C) administration assistant provided a pivotal role at the heart of an organisation's most valuable asset its people.

An P\&C assistant role is multi\-functional, from onboarding new hires to assisting with payroll.

An ideal candidate should have a passion for people and thrive in a fast\-paced, varied environment, as well as be empathetic, communicative, and someone who appreciates the nuances of a diverse workforce.

· Have good spoken and written communication skills.

· Be confident about gathering facts and statistics.

P\&C Assistant Responsibilities \& Duties

Below is a list of some key responsibilities of an P\&C Assistant:

· Starter and leaver administration

· Co\-ordinate induction days

· Maintain and update employee records

· Assist with maternity, paternity and adoption administration processes

· Monitor probationary periods

· Holiday and sickness reporting

· Issue offer letters and contracts to new starters and change letters

· Liaise with finance regarding monthly payroll changes

· Assist with the payroll process

· Administer employee benefits

· Take minutes at disciplinaries in the absence of the P\&C Manager

· Assist with the recruitment process, i.e. scheduling interviews

· Assist with any ad hoc P\&C projects

· Provide day\-to\-day administrative support for the Head of P\&C

HR Assistant Skills \& Requirements

· Numerate with excellent attention to detail

· Must be a team player with strong relationship\-building skills

· Advanced Microsoft Office skills

· Excellent communication skills

Pay: £21,156\.00\-£23,271\.00 per year
