Acero Construction Ltd is a growing construction and labour provider supporting major UK infrastructure projects. We are looking for a Management Accountant to support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate reporting, forecasting, and commercial insight across the business.

The Role

A key position focused on improving financial visibility, margin control, and performance reporting across both labour and operational divisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts, including variance analysis


• Deliver weekly flash reports and forecasting (weekly/monthly)


• Support reporting of revenue, margins, and cost movements


• Work with Operations on WIP and CVRs


• Provide insight on performance and profitability


• Support and oversee Accounts Assistants


• Identify trends, risks, and cost drivers


• Improve finance processes, reporting, and KPIs

Essential:

• Management Accountant experience


• Strong reporting, forecasting, and Excel skills

• Construction or labour supply experience


• Exposure to WIP and CVRs

• Analytical, organised, and commercially aware


• Confident working with operational teams


• Proactive and solution\-focused

• Accurate and timely reporting


• Reliable forecasting


• Improved financial visibility across the business
