Salary: £46,000 \- £52,000 per annum
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 4:00pm
Location: Cheltenham
Excellent benefits package including 2\.5% Golden Hello payment on commencement of employment and a £2,000 annual retention bonus (pro\-rata for part time employees), subject to achieving and maintaining clearance requirements.
G4S Facilities Management are recruiting a Maintenance Manager on a full\-time, permanent basis based in Cheltenham.
We are looking for a dedicated and professional candidate to join our site\-based operations team. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing our facilities management by directing all contractors engaged in planned and reactive works. A key part of this will be managing the CAFM system to efficiently deliver Hard FM planned and capital works, directly supporting our operational teams.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all contractors for planned, corrective, and remedial works, ensuring alignment with the annual schedule.
- Coordinate with Procurement for quotes on all additional, reactive, and corrective external contractor works.
- Manage safety documentation: Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), ensure Safe Systems of Work, and issue Permits to Work as needed.
- Provide performance updates: Deliver weekly reports on Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) performance, repairs, and critical assets.
- Optimize PPM schedules: Regularly review and recommend changes to current PPM schedules with the Asset Manager.
- Ensure compliance: Maintain adherence to current standards and regulations, providing necessary documentation for Health \& Safety audits.
- Support audits: Assist with all audits and ensure timely resolution of corrective actions.
- Manage and develop staff: Line manage Scheduling staff and Security escorts, including performance reviews (PDRs), training, and recruitment.
- Resource allocation: Ensure correct resource allocation and support for all work streams.
- Staff development \& CAFM utilization: Develop staff to effectively schedule planned and corrective works via the CAFM system for operational staff, ensuring accurate work record returns and maintenance.
- Report H\&S incidents: Document all health and safety incidents, accidents, near misses, and Dangerous Occurrence Without Injury (DWB).
- Possesse management experience, specifically including the successful management of supply chains.
- Hold an IOSH qualification or a similar certification.
- Be qualified in relevant trades (Electrical and/or Mechanical disciplines).
- Demonstrate strong IT literacy, with proficiency in both Google and Microsoft applications.
- Have a solid understanding of CDM Regulations 2017\.
- Be familiar with CAFM systems.
