A home, not just a service
Gloucestershire House is a residential service with nursing support in Cheltenham, and home for up to 30 disabled adults. Our service feels like family – relaxed, supportive, and centred around the people who live here. Every day brings new moments to celebrate: from small wins in independence to big laughs over mealtimes
Your working hours
Working 07:30\-19:30 \- Alternative weekends. Option to work additional contracted hours as Support worker

What you’ll do
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver outstanding, person\-centred care
- Organise rotas and ensure the right staffing levels at all times
- Support with training, development, and supervision of staff
- Work alongside customers to achieve their goals and promote independence
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
- Step in to provide hands\-on care and administer medication when needed
- Experience in a supervisory role within a care setting
- A relevant qualification (NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Health \& Social Care or equivalent)
- Good communication, organisational, and leadership skills
- A warm, supportive, and motivating approach to working with others
- Willingness to work flexibly and take part in the on\-call rota
