Location: Lymedale, Stoke\-on\-Trent

Salary: Up to £51,440 (including shift allowance) \+ Overtime

Shifts: 12\-hour days \& nights (including weekends)

Motiontech is hiring a Maintenance Engineer to support one of the UK’s most advanced automated logistics facilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across automated material handling systems


• Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns, minimising downtime


• Conduct fault finding on electrical, mechanical and PLC\-controlled equipment


• Maintain conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics and automated handling systems


• Use CMMS to record maintenance activity and track performance data

This is a hands\-on engineering role in a technically advanced automation environment. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a proactive, adaptable Maintenance Engineer with strong diagnostic capability and experience in automated or fast\-paced production/logistics environments.

Essential Skills \& Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical, Mechanical or Multi\-Skilled Engineering


• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in logistics, automation, FMCG, manufacturing or similar


• Strong fault\-finding and diagnostic skills

Experience working with:

• Conveyors and automated material handling systems


• Motors, drives, gearboxes and pneumatics


• PLC\-controlled equipment (fault finding level)


• Experience using CMMS systems


• Flexible to work 12\-hour rotating shifts (days/nights)


• Strong commitment to safe working practices
