Machine assembly engineer
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Assembly Engineer to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly, configuration, calibration and testing of a wide range of laser marking and cutting devices.
This position requires a blend of technical expertise and innovative thinking to ensure the successful delivery of engineering solutions that meet our clients' needs.
The ability to deliver high levels of attention to detail and build quality as well as to follow build processes and guidelines while adhering to written assembly processes is critical.
The assembly parts of this role are a mix of mostly mechanical assembly and installation of electronic components.
Duties
- Precision assembly of mechanical components such as extruded aluminium sub frames, motorised sub assemblies and integration of pneumatic components
- Reading from drawings and wiring diagrams to route wires in a neat, tidy, efficient and accurate way
- Conduct component testing and analysis to optimise system performance.
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of system issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Configure via software (full training given) the entire system in order to optimise quality of output and performance
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong background in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with tools and skills required for precision mechanical assembly processes
- Previous experience working with logic controllers is advantageous.

Pay: £32,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year
