Luxury Retail Assistant Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Luxury Retail Assistant Manager to join our prestigious retail environment. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving sales, managing daily operations, and ensuring the highest standards of service are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team at a high standard, supporting the achievement of company KPIs, whilst maintaining the highest level of Customer Service.


• Create and manage rotas, ensuring they are correct before passing on to payroll, in the absence of the store manage or when required.


• Responsible for cashing up, till reconciliation and banking on a daily basis, in the absence of the store manage or when required.


• Prioritising personal and overall store objectives.


• Teaming with the Store Manager in delivering proactive and innovative ways to maximise revenues and service standards.


• Organisation of periodic events / VIP days to promote the store; in the absence of the store manager


• Work with the Marketing team to promote the store through a variety of channels


• Creating weekly business reports at the request of the Regional Manager.


• Monitoring weekly stock levels


• Ensure the team are hands on and helping promote the store brand through media platforms with the support of the wider team


• Stock Management, monitoring and managing stock levels within the store, communicating with the Team when required.

HR \& Health and Safety Responsibilities

• Supporting HR in maintaining the stores Health and Safety to ensure 100% compliance


• Be a first point of call for security; alarm detections, fire detections


• Reporting any and all health and safety concerns, accidents and near misses to your line manager at your earliest convenience


• Completing and maintaining the health and safety folder alongside the store manager on a regular basis to ensure 100% H\&S compliance


• Support HR in the smooth and compliant recruitment, onboarding and off\- boarding of new employees and existing employees within the store

Experience

• Proven management experience within luxury retail or high\-end fashion environments.


• Demonstrated supervising experience with a focus on team management and leadership.


• Strong background in retail management, sales management, or related supervisory roles.


• Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.


• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on interpersonal relations and customer engagement.


• Solid understanding of merchandising principles, inventory control, and visual presentation.


• Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.


• Experience in administrative functions such as scheduling, reporting, and maintaining detailed records.


• Familiarity with luxury brand standards, product knowledge, and clienteling techniques.


• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.


• Shopify POS \- desirable but not limiting
