Logistics & Warehouse Manager
About the business
Clearance Guys is a fast\-growing UK discount and pallet goods business, buying clearance stock at scale and moving it quickly through our warehouse and into the hands of customers online. We operate a busy ecommerce fulfilment operation , think high\-variety inbound, fast\-turning stock, and a daily outbound dispatch cycle that keeps our customers coming back. We're at an exciting point in our growth and are bringing in a Warehouse Manager to take full ownership of the operation so the business can scale with confidence.
The role
This is a hands\-on leadership role. You'll be the most senior person in the building day\-to\-day , responsible for everything from goods\-in to final dispatch, the stock system, the team, health and safety, and the courier relationships. You'll report directly to the owner and have a real say in how the operation runs and grows. It's the kind of role that suits someone who's comfortable on the floor one minute and in a spreadsheet the next.
What you'll own

- Stock accuracy , maintaining the WMS, running cycle counts and ensuring the inventory data feeding our Shopify store is reliable
- Team management and scheduling , organising labour to hit daily dispatch cut\-offs, covering peaks with agency staff as needed
- Inbound logistics , booking in deliveries, managing pallet unloads and liaising with suppliers on lead times and discrepancies
- Outbound logistics , managing courier relationships, booking collections, resolving delivery issues and keeping the despatch cut\-off
- Health and safety , owning compliance with all relevant regs (manual handling, PUWER, LOLER, racking inspections, fire) and being the named H\&S lead on site
- Warehouse layout and process , continuously improving how the space, equipment and workflow are organised to maximise throughput
- Reporting to the owner on operational KPIs: pick accuracy, on\-time dispatch rate, stock accuracy, cost per order and returns rate
- Recruiting, inducting and developing warehouse staff as the team grows

- Proven experience running a warehouse or fulfilment operation, including managing a team

- Comfortable with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for basic reporting and stock tracking
- A hands\-on approach , willing to cover on the floor when needed, not just manage from a desk
