As an Export \& Logistics Administrator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail\-oriented Logistics Administrator to manage and coordinate all aspects of import and export operations. The role involves handling import and export activities, overseeing transportation bookings, tracking key performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast\-paced environment, and a proactive approach to problem\-solving.

Key accountabilities of the role:

  • Coordinate and oversee import and export logistics operations, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of goods.

  • Manage transport bookings across multiple modes, liaising with carriers, suppliers, and brokers to optimize logistics solutions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation for shipments, including invoices, customs declarations, and compliance records.

  • Monitor and report on key logistics metrics, identifying challenges and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.

  • Support compliance audits by ensuring adherence to import/export regulations and internal policies.

  • Manage vendor relationships, conducting performance reviews alongside logistics team through tracking KPIs to drive improvements.

  • Assist in haulage recovery and cost analysis, supporting budget optimisation and cost\-saving initiatives.

  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, and Finance) to provide logistics support and resolve operational issues.

  • Maintain and update logistics procedures and policies to ensure best practices.

  • Conduct benchmarking exercises to identify potential cost\-saving opportunities across key trade lanes

  • Represent the Logistics Team in key meetings, providing insights and strategic input.
Key skills \& qualifications:
  • Previous administrative experience, preferably in the transportation industry.

  • Excellent organisational skills and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills for vendor and stakeholder interactions.

  • Problem\-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and within a team.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Good understanding of import \& export regulations.

  • Experience collaborating with freight forwarders, brokers, and international shipping partners.

  • Knowledge on rate management and preferential trade agreements.

  • Familiarity with customs compliance and audit processes
