Logistics Coordinator
Job Overview
As a Logistics Coordinator at NREX LTD, you will be responsible for coordinating the day\-to\-day operations of our courier and logistics services. You will ensure that collections and deliveries are planned efficiently, shipments are tracked accurately, and customers receive exceptional service. Working closely with drivers, warehouse staff, e\-commerce sellers, retailers, and third\-party partners, you will help maintain smooth logistics operations while meeting delivery deadlines and service standards.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail\-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast\-paced environment. You will play a vital role in supporting our growing business by resolving operational issues, improving delivery efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction across our courier network.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily courier, collection, and delivery operations.
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to ensure timely collections and deliveries.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delivery issues or delays.
- Communicate with drivers, customers, e\-commerce sellers, retailers, and delivery partners to provide updates and resolve enquiries.
- Plan and optimise delivery routes to maximise efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure all deliveries meet agreed service levels (SLAs) and company performance standards.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery status, and operational activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Investigate delivery exceptions, customer complaints, and failed deliveries, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Support the onboarding, scheduling, and coordination of courier drivers.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure parcels are processed and dispatched on time.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, transport regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist management with planning during peak trading periods and high\-volume operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries.
- Previous experience in a logistics, courier, transport, supply chain, or operations coordination role is preferred.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS), courier management software, or logistics platforms is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional and positive attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate operational records.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of UK courier, transport, and e\-commerce logistics operations is desirable.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths are required; a qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work additional hours during peak operational periods when required.
- Right to work in the UK.

Pay: £34,420\.00\-£40,178\.94 per year
