As part of our continued growth, we are looking for experienced Logistics Co\-Ordinator / Administrator to join our team based at Head office in Chorley, reporting to the Head of Logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

The Logistics Co\-Ordinator / Administrator will be responsible for co\-ordinating the transportation and distribution of our products across the company to ensure efficient, cost\-effective, and timely delivery to our customers.

Key aspects of the role will include:

  • Planning \& Co\-ordination: daily co\-ordination and planning of deliveries and collections from multiple locations across the UK to ensure seamless service for our customers.

  • Driver Support: Support our fleet of Drivers by ensuring compliance to driver hours, rest breaks and tachograph requirements.

  • Performance Optimization: Frequently analysis of data to identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety regulations, hazardous goods handling, and legal standards.

  • Technology: effectively utilise logistics software to plan and co\-ordinate work tasks.
Required Skills \& Experience:

· Experience: Previous experience in a similar role in tool hire or associated construction industry would be preferred.

· Technical Skills: Proficient in using logistics software and systems with the ability to analyse data.

· Soft Skills: This is a fast\-paced role requiring excellent planning skills, organisational skills, effective communication and problem\-solving abilities.
