Hours: Monday \- Friday 9am \- 5pm plus unpaid lunch break (35 hours a week)

The Opportunity:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our People Support department as a HR Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to gain hands\-on experience across a broad range of HR functions, while studying towards a recognised HR qualification. You’ll work closely with a HR professional, supporting the day\-to\-day HR operations and contributing to key people initiatives.
Person Specification:
- GCSE grades A\*–C / 9–4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or ambition to work towards this) is desirable
- Previous experience in a HR role is desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion is essential
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
· Assistance with recruitment and onboarding
o Booking in interviews and communicate with candidates
o Sending job offer letters and onboarding paperwork
o Send new starter paperwork and assist with pre\-employment checks such as references
· HR Systems Administration
o Maintaining accurate and up to date employee records on the HR system
o Process new starters and leavers
o Issue employee contract variation letters onto HR system
o Run employee data reports when needed
· General HR and People Support assistance
o Attending meetings as a note taker as and when required
o Tracking the completion of probations
o Contributing to HR projects such as engagement surveys, policy reviews and wellbeing initiatives
o Carry out research tasks to support continuous improvement to HR processes
o And any other duties that are required to improve the wellbeing and experience of all employee owners
