Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail\-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our dynamic supply chain team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing logistics operations, ensuring seamless coordination across various departments, and optimising overall efficiency. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in logistics, warehouse management, and process improvement to contribute to our organisation’s success.
Duties
- Oversee category management to optimise inventory levels and product assortment.
- Manage transportation management to coordinate dispatches schedules effectively.
- Utilise ERP platforms such as SAGE 200 to track inventory movements and update records accurately.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Collaborate with third\-party logistics providers (3PL) to streamline supply chain operations.
- Analyse data to identify process improvements, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.
- Assist with samples handling activities, including picking, packing, and organising stock within the warehouse.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation related to logistics operations and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within a warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage 200, and data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of 3PL operations, shipping \& receiving procedures, and materials handling techniques.
- Hands\-on experience with picking \& packing processes and forklift operation is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £26,500\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
