LIVE IN SUPPORT WORKER MALE
About the Role
We are looking for a kind, reliable, and compassionate Live\-In Support Worker to support an autistic adult male in his own home. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys making a real difference in someone’s daily life.
You will provide practical support, companionship, and structure to help maintain independence, wellbeing, and a positive daily routine.
This position operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota, allowing you to fully focus on the role while on shift and enjoy extended time off between rotations.
Important Requirements
To be considered for this role you must:
- Be 24 years of age or older
- Hold a full UK driving license
- Be comfortable driving the client to appointments and activities
- Have the right to work in the UK
- No visa sponsorship or visa switches are available for this role
- Supporting daily routines and independent living skills
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Encouraging hobbies, activities, and community engagement
- Assisting with meal preparation and healthy eating
- Helping maintain a clean, organised home environment
- Driving to appointments, outings, and activities
- Promoting independence, confidence, and wellbeing
- Ensuring a safe, calm, and structured environment
- A patient, calm, and caring personality
- Someone who enjoys supporting others to live independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Experience in care, support work, autism support, or healthcare is desirable but not essential
