Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Live\-in Hotel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hotel. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hospitality expertise, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest services. This role offers the unique opportunity to live on\-site, ensuring seamless management and a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate communication with diverse clientele and team members. The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining high standards of service, supervising staff, and ensuring the smooth running of all hotel functions.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services

  • Lead and supervise hotel staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations

  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences by maintaining high standards of hospitality and addressing guest concerns promptly

  • Manage reservations, check\-ins, check\-outs, and billing procedures efficiently

  • Coordinate with human resources to recruit, onboard, and retain qualified personnel

  • Implement policies and procedures to optimise operational efficiency and guest satisfaction

  • Maintain compliance with health \& safety regulations and hotel policies

  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development
Requirements
  • Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel management

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team

  • Previous hotel experience is essential; familiarity with guest services is highly valued

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast\-paced environment

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour

  • Flexibility to live on\-site as part of the role; availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends is a must

  • Basic maintenance is also requuired

  • Reference is required

Pay: £12\.71 per hour
