We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Live\-In Care Worker to support an adult client in their own home. This role would be particularly suitable for an experienced carer who has previously supported individuals with alcohol misuse, mental health needs, self\-neglect, or complex social care needs.
About the Role
As a Live\-In Care Worker, you will reside in the client's home during your placement and provide person\-centred support to promote independence, wellbeing, and safety.
Duties may include:
- Personal care and support with daily living
- Meal preparation and nutrition support
- Medication prompting and monitoring
- Companionship and emotional support
- Supporting independence and community access
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Working in accordance with care plans and risk assessments
- experienced carer who has previously supported individuals with alcohol misuse, mental health needs, self\-neglect, or complex social care needs.
- Previous live\-in care or home care experience (essential)
- Experience supporting individuals with alcohol misuse or complex needs (preferred)
- Experience using the Birdie care management system (preferred)
- Confident in completing digital care notes, medication records, and incident reporting using Birdie
- Compassionate, patient, and non\-judgemental approach
- Good communication and record\-keeping skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
