Live-in-Care Worker - Driver Required
Feldon Care is looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Live\-in Care Workers to join our growing team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support individuals in their own homes, enabling them to remain independent, safe, and comfortable while receiving high\-quality, person\-centred care.
Please note: A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential for this role.
Feldon Care does not hold a sponsor licence and is therefore unable to offer sponsorship.
As a Live\-in Care Worker, you will build positive relationships with clients, promote their wellbeing, and support them with their daily living needs while maintaining dignity, choice, independence, and respect at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Provide high\-quality personal care and support in accordance with individual care plans.
\- Support clients with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other daily living activities.
\- Assist with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration.
\- Administer or prompt medication in line with care plans, company policies, and procedures.
\- Support clients to attend appointments, shopping trips, social activities, and access their local community.
\- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing.
\- Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
\- Follow individual care plans, risk assessments, and agreed support arrangements.
\- Report accidents, incidents, safeguarding concerns, or changes in a client's condition promptly and appropriately.
\- Work within professional boundaries and maintain confidentiality at all times.
\- Communicate effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and the management team.
\- Promote independence, dignity, privacy, choice, and person\-centred care at all times.
Essential:
\- Previous experience working in a care setting.
\- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
\- Willingness to drive clients where required.
\- Right to work in the UK.
\- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
\- Good spoken and written English.
\- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
\- Up\-to\-date mandatory training relevant to the role.
\- Understanding of person\-centred care, safeguarding, confidentiality, professional boundaries, and duty of care.
\- Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.
Desirable:
\- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
\- Experience supporting individuals living with dementia, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, or complex care needs.
\- Experience of medication administration and care documentation.
